How to Find your Passwords on Mac

To find your passwords on a Mac running macOS Monterey;

Switch On your Mac and Boot macOS
First, if your Mac is not currently running, you'll need to switch it "On". And if you're currently running multiple OS on your Mac, ensure you boot into macOS.

Click the Apple icon
Once your Mac is fully booted and running macOS, the first thing you need to do to find your saved passwords on Mac is to click the Apple icon. You can locate the Apple icon in the top-left corner of your Mac screen.

Select System Preferences
Once the Apple icon is clicked as instructed from the previous step, a drop-down menu should appear, from the drop-down menu; select System Preferences.

Click Passwords
Now, after clicking the System Preferences as earlier instructed, the next page should display a bunch of icons with corresponding labels beneath each of them. From this bunch of icons, locate Passwords and click on it.
NOTE:
It is possible that you don't see the Passwords option from this screen. If that is the case, simply proceed to the next step from below.

If Prompted, Enter your Mac Password
It is possible that at this stage your Mac asks for password, simply enter the same password you use for your Mac lockscreen.

Now, Use the Search Bar to Find your Passwords
From this screen, you can now use the Search Bar to find your passwords. You can locate the search bar at the top-left corner of the window. In the Search Bar, you can search by the website name or your username.

Select your Desired Password
If your search term matches any website you have ever browsed on your Mac, the result will definitely pop. You can then click on your desired password and alter it (if you want) by clicking on the Edit button.
Note:
You will only see the Edit button appear on the right-hand side of your view when you select a website from the left sidebar.

Finally, the Next Pop-up Displays your Username and Password
You will now see your password and username at the top of the pop-up window that is being displayed. From this pop-up window, you can alter your password as you see fit.
WARNING!
Although you can change your password from this pop-up window, the password will only change on your Mac and other iCloud devices that are connected to the same iCloud account that is logged-on on your Mac. To change your actual password, you can click the Change Password on Website button.
This will open your web browser to the login page for the website and from there, you can proceed to changing your actual password for the website login.
Also, you can click Delete Password from the pop-up window but, similarly; it will only remove the password from your Mac and other iCloud devices that are connected to the same iCloud account that is logged-on on your Mac.
